Hi, I’m Chuck.
I’m an inquisitive technologist. I like a good question, especially one I can explore by building something.
Reading gives me a starting point. Writing shows me which parts I don’t understand yet. Code usually finds a few more.
I wanted a place to share that process with people who find the same things interesting. Some posts will be about a useful result. Others may be about an approach that didn’t work, or a question I still haven’t answered.
What I’m curious about
AI is the starting point here. I’m interested in trying it in real software and paying attention to the details: the instructions, the context, the unexpected results, and the effort it takes to make something useful.
Quantum computing, blockchain, DevOps, and cybersecurity are also on my list. There’s plenty to learn in all of them.
A work in progress
My understanding will change, and so will what I write. I’ll try to be clear about what I’ve actually tried, what I’m assuming, and what still needs a closer look.
